Privacy Policy

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from learners in a variety of ways, including when learners enrol on a course, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available. Learners may be asked for, as appropriate, their name and email address. Feedback on our courses may be given anonymously.

We will collect personal identification information from learners only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Learners can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain activities, such as booking onto a course.

How we use collected information

Methodical may collect and use learners' personal information for the following purposes:

• To improve customer service - information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
• To personalise the learner experience - we may use information in the aggregate to understand how our learners as a group use the services and resources we provide.
• To send periodic emails - we may use an email address to send information and updates relating to an order, and to respond to enquiries, questions and other requests.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent learners' personal identification information to others.

How this website processes your information

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, your email address, your organisation if you give one, and your message. Your enquiry is delivered to us by email through our email delivery provider, Resend, and you receive a confirmation email in return. We use these details to respond to your enquiry.

This site includes an assistant, "Ask Methodical", that you can ask questions about our courses. Messages you type to the assistant are processed by Anthropic, a third-party AI provider, in order to generate its replies, so please do not include sensitive personal information in the chat. If you ask the assistant to pass your details to us, it emails us your name, email address and what you are interested in, and you receive a confirmation email; we use those details to follow up on your request.

To protect our forms and assistant from automated abuse, this site uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that requests come from a person. Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare and processes limited technical information about your browser and connection; Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice is linked in the footer of every page.

Course bookings are taken on Eventbrite. The details you provide when booking are processed by Eventbrite under its own privacy policy.

This website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical connection data, such as IP addresses, in order to serve and secure the site.

Third-party websites

Learners may find content on this website that links to the sites and services of our partners and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites, and they are not covered by this policy. These sites and services have their own privacy policies; browsing and interaction on any other website is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

Changes to this privacy policy

Methodical may update this privacy policy at any time. We encourage learners to check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling on a course, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not enrol. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
